Capo was the best little black dog. He finished young and was happy to settle on the couch. A few years later, my youngest was looking for a juniors dog. Capo came out of retirement, earned his Grand Championship with her and then took her to the Juniors Competition at Westminster Kennel Club. Later, he happily retired and became Uncle Capo to all of the young dogs.

Also known as the Toad, Veto was a bright happy boy who dragged us into the world of conformation. His handler called him Mr. Happy because he never had a bad day. He taught my children how to love dogs from infancy.
Jeremy was my first dog as an adult. He had a rough start. Jeremy and I sent a great deal of time working through his issues. ultimately, he became my wingman, no matter where I went, he went. My early experience with Jeremy motivated me to start Mid-Atlantic English Springer Spaniel Rescue, a non profit that is still in existence rescuing and rehoming English Springer Spaniels.
